Barker's Mill is both a place and a state of mind. Although our business is located in Brentwood, Tennessee we are still tied to my family's farm where home-cooked meals are the focus of each day and a much anticipated pleasure. Hospitality and graciousness are still alive in Barker's Mill, Kentucky and we hope to share some of that spirit with you.
At Barker's Mill, our specialties are wonderful food and great service. We work with each client to custom design a menu that will make each meal or reception a special occasion. We think you will find our value hard to beat.
Fred Askew, the owner of Barker's Mill Catering, has been in the restaurant and catering business in the Nashville area for over 25 years. He and his staff have worked with individuals, corporations, non-profit organizations and churches to create memorable food and events for all occasions.
Our Commitment to the Environment
At Barker’s Mill Catering we are committed to protecting the environment for future generations. We grow all of the herbs used in our dishes and some vegetables, recycle all recyclable containers used in the preparation of our food, and compost all non-animal food waste. At our farm in Kentucky, we have always protected the land and the wildlife. That is our legacy.
